Course description
Aimed at teachers and school leaders, this course will equip you with the knowledge and skills required to develop your students' AI literacy
First, you will consider what AI and AI literacy actually are and explore the opportunities and ethical (moral) consequences of AI for society. Then, you will explore practical, research-informed teaching methods that will help to develop your students' understanding of AI.
You will consider what students need to know about generative AI, such as AI chatbots or image generators, in order to use it effectively and carefully. Finally, you'll learn how your school can ensure a transparent and reliable approach to AI literacy for students and staff via its AI policy.
